With an official price tag of $1,500, ( this was the price set for competition winners who were able to get Google Glass early), there are hopes that a cheaper version of Google Glass will become available with a projected release date of late 2013 or early 2014.
For a product that has yet to be launched it has already begun to cause a stir with T3 The Gadget Website reporting campaigners in the U.S. looking to have them banned from wearing whilst driving and in the U.K questions surrounding the contravening of privacy laws by google as the camera is ‘always on’.
